The end of cold: meteorologist named the exact date of spring's arrival in Ukraine.
Ukraine is finally shaking off the cold and unpredictable weather and transitioning to real spring warmth, reported meteorologist Natalka Didenko.
According to her forecast, starting from April 12, significant warming is expected in Ukraine. Daytime temperatures will rise from +7 to +12 degrees, and in some regions, particularly in Luhansk and Kharkiv, it may reach +14 degrees.
'Frost will remain only in some places at night and will gradually disappear,' Didenko noted.
At the same time, dry weather is expected in most regions on April 12. However, in the west, wet snow is possible at night, and in the southeast, remnants of the cyclone with rain, wet snow, and strong winds during the day.
No precipitation is forecasted in Kyiv. The nighttime temperature will be around zero degrees, while during the day it will rise to +7...+9 degrees.
On Palm Sunday, it will be even warmer - sunny weather and temperatures from +10 to +15 degrees across the country.
According to preliminary data, warm weather will prevail on Easter with daytime temperatures from +14 to +20 degrees. However, Didenko noted that this forecast may be refined as the holiday approaches.
