Kolomoiskyi on the Mindich case: called him a 'scapegoat' in corruption schemes.
According to inkorr.com: Imprisoned entrepreneur Ihor Kolomoiskyi expressed his position regarding the accusations against Timur Mindich, co-owner of the 'Kvartal 95' studio. According to him, Mindich cannot be the main organizer of the corruption schemes that were uncovered in the NABU investigation.
New characterization of Mindich
Kolomoiskyi called Mindich a 'scapegoat', although he previously described him as a 'good guy'. He is following the events related to Mindich's case but assures that this is not related to his own case.
Searches and sanctions
On November 10, NABU conducted searches in Timur Mindich's apartment regarding potential involvement in corruption schemes and benefits from Energoatom's counterparties. In turn, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy made the decision to impose sanctions against Mindich and another person related to this case.
The situation around Timur Mindich has caused a wide public resonance as it is connected with well-known figures in Ukraine's show business. The government's reaction to such cases indicates the seriousness of intentions to combat corruption in the country, which is one of the key challenges for Ukraine on its path to European integration.
