Yesterday, European Commission spokesperson Anouar El-Anouni announced the adoption of the 21st sanctions package, reflecting the EU’s firm stance against Russian aggression. A briefing was held in Brussels on July 24, 2023, where the spokesperson detailed the new measures. El-Anouni stressed that

“our position is well known and has been clearly articulated.”
