The communal crisis in Kryvyi Rih has been ongoing for three weeks

Energy expert Oleg Popenko expressed his opinion on the heating crisis in Kryvyi Rih, which has lasted for three weeks. He made this statement during a broadcast with Yuriy Romanenko.

Due to the city authorities' negligence in preparing for the heating season, over 150 thousand residents of Kryvyi Rih have been left without heat. In this context, Popenko noted that all responsible parties of JSC 'Kryvorizhteplocentral' signed the readiness act for the heating season without any comments.

'Before the start of the heating season, they sign the readiness act for the heating season. All responsible parties of JSC 'Kryvorizhteplocentral' signed this document without a single remark. That is, they signed that the equipment was ready, the heating networks were ready, everything was fine. The only one who did not sign was the representative of the state energy supervision. He had 53 remarks. For understanding: this is how preparations for the heating season are conducted in Ukraine. Naftogaz simply ignored all the city's problems and just signed everything,' - said the expert.

Popenko also expressed his opinion that all the leaders who signed this act should be dismissed from their positions.

'I would like criminal cases to be initiated against each of them and personally held criminally responsible. When we see that each of them receives a real sentence...', - he added.

Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal named two 'problematic cities' regarding the heating season, but Kryvyi Rih was not mentioned in the list.
