57 Ukrainians May Be Deported from Poland: What Happened at the Korzh Concert.
Following the scandalous events at the performance of Belarusian rapper Max Korzh in Warsaw on August 9, a case has arisen regarding 57 Ukrainians who are to be deported from Poland.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Poland has confirmed that it has sent official inquiries to the competent authorities to resolve the situation. Currently, it is known that three Ukrainians aged 30, 23, and 20 have been detained and are to be deported due to their involvement in a conflict with the staff during the concert.
Previous Context
During Max Korzh's performance at the National Stadium in Warsaw, fans raised UPA and Ukrainian flags, which provoked a negative reaction from Polish authorities and citizens due to potential political associations. This led to the initiation of deportation procedures for 63 individuals, including 57 Ukrainians and six Belarusians.
The Prime Minister of Poland stated that Russia is trying to worsen relations between Kyiv and Warsaw by provoking anti-Ukrainian sentiments among Poles. A Ukrainian woman has also been detained in Poland, accused of sending explosives by mail, and the overall situation is being monitored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
