Talks on military aid to Ukraine to be held at Ramstein base in Germany
The second round of talks among allied countries on military aid to Ukraine will take place at the Ramstein base in Germany. It is expected that these meetings will become permanent.
"This month another meeting of defense department heads will take place, which was first held in Germany at the Ramstein base. But this time, it is likely to be in an online format. I have no doubt that Lloyd Austin and UK Defense Minister Ben Wallace will have the opportunity to discuss the agenda for this second consultation meeting," Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said at a briefing.
US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin plans to meet monthly, so the meetings are more likely to be held online. However, a final decision has not yet been made.
