Contract 18-24 for a million: one of the brigades received 300 applications in three days.
In three days of the 'Contract 18-24' program, approximately 300 applications were received by the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign. This was reported by the head of the recruitment group of the 28th Brigade, Denys Shvydkyi.
According to him, 50-60 people are ready to sign contracts at this time. He also added that with each passing day, more people will be applying for military service. The 28th Brigade is one of six brigades participating in the new contract service program.
Denys Shvydkyi stated that the brigade adheres to NATO standards. They fully support individuals at all stages, including the military-medical commission and basic military training. The brigade has instructors with combat experience.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has launched the 'Contract 18-24' project for Ukrainians aged 18 to 24 who are ready to join the defense forces for one year. There is a list of brigades where one can serve under contract, as well as available combat positions.
In the 'Reserve+' application, it is now possible to apply for a one-year contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainians aged 18 to 24 can also serve in the Armed Forces under contract, but may be rejected due to health issues.
