According to UATV: Ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys argued that any dialogue with Russia must be conducted from a position of strength, not weakness. He stressed the critical need for sustained financial backing for Ukraine and highlighted the importance of utilizing frozen Russian assets. This call reflects Lithuania’s firm stance on regional security and international relations.
Budrys pointed out that Moscow’s demands have not shifted since 2021. He emphasized:
