Ukrainian soldiers released from Russian captivity

The Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, published a video showing the emotional moment of the release of Ukrainian soldiers from Russian captivity. It should be noted that 390 Ukrainians were returned, as part of the '1000 for 1000' exchange.

After the soldiers' return, they call their relatives, expressing joy and relief that they are home again. This is already the sixth exchange this year and the 65th since the start of the war in Donbas. Among those released were also civilians and representatives of various military units of Ukraine.

Prisoner exchanges with the Russian side occur regularly as part of peace agreements and efforts to reconcile the parties, although the conflict in the east of the country remains unresolved and requires further actions to achieve complete peace and stability in the region.
