Bureaucratic difficulties for a disabled person of group 1A in Ukraine

According to inkorr.com: Maxim Sima, a disabled person of group 1A since 2017, found himself in a difficult situation due to a lack of hot water and difficulties in obtaining an international passport. Due to health problems, he is unable to receive the necessary government assistance to obtain this important document.

I have a legal deferment from conscription... I am completely dependent on the availability of sufficient hot water...

In the context of the energy crisis and lack of hot water, Maxim is considering the possibility of going abroad for the winter to secure normal living conditions for himself. He does not want to leave his country, but the lack of hot water forces him to make such difficult decisions.

Problems with obtaining an international passport

Complications arise because Maxim cannot independently visit the passport desk due to his condition. Public servants refuse to issue a passport, believing that it is not a vital document.

I can't go to them, they don't want to come to me... What should a paralyzed grandmother do – die in silence?

Maxim urges the government to pay attention to this situation and asks society for support in solving the problems of people with disabilities. He also mentions the recently introduced system for assessing the daily functionality of disabled individuals in Ukraine, which requires passing an assessment to confirm disability.

Therefore, Maxim Sima, a disabled person of group 1A, faces serious difficulties in obtaining government assistance due to the lack of hot water and the need to obtain an international passport, prompting him to consider going abroad during the winter.
