According to ТСН: The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, stated that the war in Ukraine is coming to an end. As he emphasized, he believes in this "like never before."
When asked if he thinks the conflict in Ukraine could end, Lukashenko replied:
"Like never before, I believe".
He also noted that unpredictable situations may arise in wartime.
"This is war, and at any moment, an unforeseen situation may occur that could generally turn the situation back. War is war".
Additionally, he added earlier:
"We will soon end this dragging in Ukraine and get back to our own affairs".
Lukashenko's statements about the possible end of the war in Ukraine are part of his public position amid the current situation. Despite his optimism, the real state of affairs remains uncertain, and the conflict continues to raise concerns both in Ukraine and beyond. Lukashenko's words, against the backdrop of ongoing hostilities, are received with caution.
