Power Outage Timetable for Lviv and Region on February 2
According to Novyny.live: The energy company Lvivoblenergo announced on February 1 that scheduled hourly power outages will take place on February 2 across Lviv and the surrounding region, affecting different consumer groups.
These controlled outages are a common measure across Ukraine to manage strain on the national power grid. The electricity will be cut off according to the following schedule:
- Groups 1.1, 5.2, and 6.1 - from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- Groups 1.2, 3.2, and 4.1 - from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Groups 2.1, 2.2, and 3.1 - from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
- Groups 4.2, 5.1, and 6.2 - from 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM and from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
Residents can check their assigned group for emergency or scheduled outages on the Lvivoblenergo website. Information is also available through chat bots: 'Lvivoblenergo' on Viber, 'Lvivoblenergo' on Telegram, 'Lvivoblenergo Business' on Viber, and 'Lvivoblenergo Business' on Telegram. For user convenience, the 'KomKom' application is also an option.
Stabilizing the Power Supply
These planned outages are part of ongoing efforts to stabilize the electricity supply in the region. By announcing schedules in advance, Lvivoblenergo allows people to plan their day around the anticipated interruptions.
Given the current challenges in Ukraine's energy sector, such measures have become routine in many parts of the country.
