Sandu condemned Russian strikes on Ukraine: Moldova stands shoulder to shoulder with Kyiv.
The President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, condemned the mass strikes that Russian troops are carrying out on Ukraine and expressed condolences to Ukrainian families who lost loved ones due to the shelling.

Day by day, Russia is bombing Ukrainian cities. Yesterday - again Kyiv: dozens dead, including children. This is terrifying daily terror. While Ukraine fights for peace in Europe, Moldova stands with Ukraine. We mourn with you for your losses.

Sandu's Reaction to Shelling in Ukraine
The head of the state of Moldova emphasized that her country supports Ukraine in its fight for peace in Europe.
'Day by day, Russia is bombing Ukrainian cities. Yesterday - again Kyiv: dozens dead, including children. This is a terrible daily terror... We (the people of Moldova - Ed.) sympathize with your losses,' - said Sandu.
Earlier, the head of Moldova announced plans for the Russians to deploy ten thousand of their soldiers in the unrecognized Transnistria, which threatens the security of her country and the sovereignty of Ukraine.
In her address, the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, expressed support for Ukraine, condemned the assaults of Russian troops, and expressed condolences to all Ukrainian families who suffered due to the shelling. She also warned of the threat to Moldova and the sovereignty of Ukraine in the event of the deployment of Russian troops in unrecognized Transnistria.
