Almost all Pakistanis were forced to leave India.

The majority of Pakistani citizens who had to leave India due to the cancellation of their visas after the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir have already left the country. This was reported by the Hindu newspaper, citing data from the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs.

Since April 24, 537 Pakistani citizens have left India through the Attari crossing point in the state of Punjab. The Indian immigration authorities continue to conduct checks to implement the decision of the Indian government after the deadline for the departure of Pakistanis on April 27.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs announced on April 24 the immediate cessation of visa issuance to Pakistani citizens and the cancellation of previously issued documents from April 27.

Pakistan hopes for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict with India and does not wish for it to escalate into a full-scale conflict between the two nuclear-armed countries. On the other hand, Indian Home Minister Amit Shah has called on authorities in all states to send all Pakistani citizens back to their homeland.

There are also reports of violations of the ceasefire in the Navgam sector in the Handwara area of Kupwara district.
