SBU Summarized the Year: 41 Russian Aircraft Destroyed in a Unique Special Operation.
Results of SBU's Work in 2025
According to ТСН: The Head of the SBU, Vasyl Maliuk, emphasized the impressive achievements of the Ukrainian security service in 2025 during his New Year greeting, noting that the main desire of Ukrainians is a stable and just peace.
He mentioned the unique special operation 'Web,' carried out this year, during which 41 aircraft of Russia's strategic aviation were destroyed. In addition, underwater strikes were executed, resulting in significant damage to the Crimean Bridge and hitting a Russian submarine in the port of Novorossiysk.
'This is the year of systematic strikes on the enemy's infrastructure that supports the war, and combat “sanctions” of the SBU against the shadow fleet of the Russian Federation. This is 12 months of desperate struggle at the frontline, where our fighters turn the occupiers' equipment into scrap. And traditionally, we demonstrate high results in this: every sixth tank hit by the Defense Forces of Ukraine is accounted for by the SBU!'
The SBU chief also noted that the enemy has not been able to destabilize the situation in Ukraine thanks to the efforts of the security service, which 'did everything to prevent terrorist attacks and diversions, massively unmasked enemy agents and traitors.'
Vasyl Maliuk stressed that the SBU outplayed the occupiers on their territory, striking at unexpected moments for them.
'During Christmas and New Year celebrations, people often make wishes. The goal of Ukrainians is sustainable and just peace. And we will do everything to ensure it.'
At the end of the year, the SBU also released a mysterious New Year video, accompanied by the famous song 'The Holiday is Approaching,' possibly hinting at a drone attack on the Crimean Bridge.
The year 2025 was challenging but productive for the SBU. The security service successfully fulfilled its tasks, contributing to the country's safety. In ensuring stability, the SBU sought to mitigate the impact of external threats and maintain peace in Ukraine, which is extremely important during wartime.
