Elon Musk rents a cottage at Trump's estate
American billionaire Elon Musk is occupying a cottage on the grounds of newly elected President Donald Trump's estate following his election victory, allowing him to be closer to the political process.
According to The New York Times, since the presidential elections on November 5, Musk has been living in one of the rental cottages at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
This cottage is located just meters from the main residence, the publication's source stated. Another source claims that friends and colleagues of Trump previously resided here.
'Staying right on the grounds (of the residence) has helped Musk easily meet with Trump,' writes The New York Times, noting that the billionaire has frequently attended working dinners with the new president.
It is known that Elon Musk invested tens of millions of dollars in Trump's campaign and participated in his conversations with foreign leaders, including Volodymyr Zelensky.
In addition, Musk himself and his employees actively participated in the selection of candidates for positions in the future Trump administration.
