American billionaire Elon Musk spoke about nine books that, in his opinion, will help gain more knowledge about artificial intelligence, economics, management, and communication. He called these books his main mentors that shape his thinking and inspire new ideas.
Here is the list of these books:
- «How to Control Artificial Intelligence» by Russell Stuart;
- «From Zero to One: How to Build a Startup that Will Change the Future» by Peter Thiel and Blake Masters;
- «Merchants of Doubt» by Naomi Oreskes and Erik M. Conway;
- «Life 3.0: Being Human in the Age of Artificial Intelligence» by Max Tegmark;
- «The Universe: The Origin of Life, the Meaning of Our Existence, and the Vast Cosmos» by Sean M. Carroll;
- «Lying: Why It Is Always Better to Tell the Truth» by Sam Harris;
- «Artificial Intelligence: Stages, Threats, Strategies» by Nick Bostrom;
- «An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations» by Adam Smith;
- «Radical Candor: How to Manager People Without Losing Your Humanity» by Scott Kim.
Another interesting thought from Elon Musk is the proposal to rename the English Channel that separates France and Great Britain. He is a supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump.
On his part, Bill Gates also recommends reading his «favorite book on artificial intelligence». It states that within the next five years, artificial intelligence will change many professions in various fields.
