Musk calls for zero tariffs despite Trump's policy.
Musk wishes to counter new tariff collections
Donald Trump's chief advisor, Elon Musk, has made a statement regarding his opposition to the new tariff collections. He expressed hope for a close partnership between the United States and Europe at the event of the Italian party 'League for Premier Salvini'.
Musk believes in the onset of a situation with zero tariffs between North America and Europe, as well as greater freedom of movement for people between these continents.
The Italian Minister of Economy also supported Musk's idea of de-escalating the conflict with the United States and warned about the consequences of introducing retaliatory tariffs.
This is not the first time Musk has shown his support for Matteo Salvini's party. He even thanked him for promoting the Starlink project in Italy.
Information has emerged about Musk possibly leaving Trump's team, as the president stated that he needs to focus on his own business. However, this information is still just rumors and has not been confirmed.
