Russian troops attacked Odesa with drones
On the night of February 19, Russian troops launched a massive attack on the city of Odesa using drones. This was reported by Mayor Gennady Trukhanov.
According to him, as a result of this hostile attack, many houses were left without electricity, water and heating.
'As a result of the hostile attack, 14 schools, 13 kindergartens, and over 500 houses in a large neighborhood were left without electricity and heating. Specialists are already assessing the damage and determining how long it will take to eliminate it. A children's clinic and a kindergarten have also been significantly damaged,' Trukhanov reported.
Currently, the city is setting up tents for the affected. The district administration will accept applications from residents whose apartments were damaged. Utility services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
'It is known about one injured person who is receiving assistance in the hospital. Currently, on February 19, educational institutions without electricity and heating will not accept children until the situation improves,' Trukhanov reported.
There will also be heating points and resilience points in the city where people can warm up, charge their gadgets, and have hot tea.
