Power Outage Crisis Hits Zaporizhzhia

According to Novyny.live: On March 16, a Russian attack caused widespread power failures in Zaporizhzhia, leaving more than 7,500 households in the dark. Air raid sirens sounded at 5:44 a.m., highlighting the severity of the threat. This is the latest in a series of assaults on the city, which has become a frequent target of Russian forces.

Just two days earlier, on March 14, the Russian military struck a residential neighborhood in Zaporizhzhia. The following day, March 15, drone attacks were reported in the city. These repeated strikes underscore the constant danger faced by local residents and the strain on critical infrastructure.

Ivan Fedorov commented on the situation, noting that the attacks continue and are causing serious damage to the city's infrastructure.

Authorities are working to restore electricity and address the fire that broke out as a result of the shelling.

Escalating Attacks on Ukrainian Cities

The situation in Zaporizhzhia reflects a broader trend of intensifying Russian strikes on Ukrainian urban centers, creating severe challenges for civilians and essential services. Local officials are racing to respond to the aftermath, but the ongoing threat makes these efforts both difficult and dangerous.

Amid the war, supporting the population and ensuring safety within the city remain top priorities.
