German Europa-Park overtakes Disneyland: named the best amusement park in the world.
Europa-Park recognized as the best theme park in the world
According to The Sun: The Europa-Park theme park in Germany has been awarded the title of the best park in the world, surpassing Disneyland Paris and Orlando. This is the park's tenth win at the Golden Ticket Awards.
EUROPA PARKIt achieved this by competing with popular Disney and Universal locations. Europa-Park comprises several themed areas that recreate different European countries and regions.
This allows visitors to see Europe in just one day.
In the park, you can find mini-versions of Italy with St. Mark's Square and a pizzeria, as well as areas dedicated to Spain, the Netherlands, England, Switzerland, and Scandinavia with fjords and a Norwegian church.
Europa-Park offers 14 roller coasters, the largest of which is Silver Star with a drop of 67 meters and a speed of over 80 miles per hour. Other attractions include raft rides, boat tours, and a ride that simulates a Swiss bobsled track.
The park also has 50 themed restaurants and bars, allowing visitors to choose dishes to suit any taste—from Italian pizza to American cuisine.
New addition - Silver Lake City
In June 2025, Europa-Park will open Silver Lake City—a Wild West-themed summer village. There will be an opportunity to relax in Tipi Town accommodations, offering 630 sleeping places in styled wagons or cabins.
