Ukrainians searching for used cars in Germany may face a serious problem, as warned by a Spanish mechanic. It turns out that some imported cars from Germany may have serious corrosion issues that are not easy to notice at first glance.Juan Jose emphasizes that rust under the paint can be a serious defect for cars brought from countries with harsh climates where salt is used to combat snow and ice. This rust destroys metal, causing corrosion that may remain invisible under the layer of paint, but over time becomes a significant problem. The mechanic advises to be especially careful when choosing a car from Germany, as they often have similar damage.Particular attention should be paid to inspecting the underside of the car, as rust on the frame or other chassis components can lead to serious problems while driving. This issue is most relevant for popular German brands such as BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Volkswagen, and Audi, which are widely available on the used car market in Germany. Although these cars are attractive for import due to their affordability and variety, buyers should be aware of the potential risks associated with corrosion.
