The vile man who cares about his own ass. Journalist criticized former Dynamo player.
Sport journalist from Georgia, Zubar Chitaya, shared his impressions of the actions of Tbilisi's mayor and former 'Dynamo' player Kaha Kaladze in an interview with Tribuna.com.
Kaladze acted absolutely reasonably. He just skillfully chose his side, which guaranteed him comfort, preservation of power, a place in warmth, and profit, instead of showing responsibility to his country and future. I believe that the majority of the residents of these countries share the same opinion about Kaladze. For him, the main thing is his personal comfort; he is ready to do anything to remain in power and satisfy his masters.
So he went and went, gradually stepping over all boundaries, crossing all red lines. He destroyed all bridges behind him. Now there is no way back; retreat is impossible.
According to Chitaya, Kaladze is a traitor.
Even with an enemy who has changed sides or with a fool who realized his mistake, one must find a common language. When a truce or capitulation occurs, regardless of personal desire, one must shake hands, sign documents, and believe in better prospects for the future. But we never respect traitors. And Kaladze has become just that. He could have been an example for others, especially considering his experience in Ukraine and Italy.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed sanctions against the current government of Georgia, including Kaha Kaladze.
Kaladze played for Tbilisi's 'Dynamo', Kyiv's 'Dynamo', and 'Milan', having made 388 appearances at the club level and 83 matches for the Georgia national team. Kaladze won the Ukrainian championship three times with Kyiv's 'Dynamo'. While playing for 'Milan', he won the Italian Championship, Italian Cup, Italian Supercup, UEFA Champions League (in 2003 and 2007), UEFA Supercup (in 2003 and 2007), and FIFA Club World Cup.
