Microsoft has decided to expand its operations in Malaysia and Indonesia by creating new cloud regions for users in these countries. They will now have the opportunity to store data and use other cloud services locally, which will contribute to the development of infrastructure, increased security, and digital skills.The Malaysia West and Indonesia Central regions are located in their respective capitals – Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta. Each region consists of three availability zones with the necessary infrastructure that ensures the stable operation of services. This initiative will allow users to take advantage of new functionalities without interruptions.Microsoft plans to invest in the development of technologies and artificial intelligence in Malaysia and Indonesia, promoting partnerships and education in these countries. This will be a step towards improving technological literacy and digital development in the region.
