The Ministry of Digital Transformation reported how many permits in «Diia» were formed by foreigners.


In two years since documents for foreigners were launched in "Diia", the latter have formed over 20 thousand permits. This was reported by the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
According to him, on September 26, the Cabinet of Ministers confirmed the success of this project, so now e-permits will be used on a permanent basis.
Among the documents that foreigners formed in "Diia": over 18.3 thousand permits for permanent residence; more than 2.8 thousand permits for temporary residence.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that the Ministry of Digital Transformation is working to enable Ukrainians to conveniently share copies of permits through "Diia". He also announced the presentation of the u-Residency program for foreigners. According to Fedorov, this will allow opening accounts online, running businesses, and paying taxes in Ukraine.
Let us remind you that now sailors in "Diia" can appoint a trusted person without visiting a notary. The Ministry of Digital Transformation noted that they are digitizing services for seafarers to make the sector more convenient and transparent.
By the way, on September 9, the Ministry of Digital Transformation launched the online marriage service in "Diia". Now you can get married in a few clicks. Fedorov noted that thanks to online marriage, military personnel and couples who are far away from each other will be able to get married despite the circumstances, the distance between cities or even countries.
Three new documents have also appeared in "Diia". The Ministry of Digital Transformation added marriage certificates, divorce certificates, and name change certificates.
