The upcoming agreement between Ukraine and the USA regarding the establishment of an investment fund will not include the recognition of American aid as debt. This was stated by Ukraine's trade representative Taras Kachka. According to him, a memorandum of intent has already been signed between the Ukrainian and American sides, and the agreement itself is still being developed. The Ukrainian-American fund will have the ability to invest in a wide range of objects, including in the field of minerals and infrastructure. This could be an important step for attracting investments and contribute to the economic development of Ukraine.
