The Russian Defense Ministry complained about the Atacms missile strike on the airport in Taganrog: there are casualties.
Ukraine struck an airport in the Rostov region
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on December 11, Ukraine attacked a military airfield in Taganrog with six Atacms missiles that were manufactured in the United States.
The Russian military claims that their Pantsir air defense systems shot down two missiles, while the rest were diverted by electronic warfare means.
The ministry also reported that as a result of missile debris falling, buildings on the technical territory of the airport and some military equipment were damaged, but there is currently no information about destruction.
Other attacks in Russia
Amid these events, it is worth noting that on December 10, a series of explosions occurred in Bryansk, and two powerful explosions were heard in the city of Maykop the night before December 7.
Additionally, on November 23, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the S-400 air defense system and the ‘Kursk-East’ airfield.
In Russia, the Khansk military airfield in the Republic of Adygea was also damaged, where an ammunition depot was damaged and fires occurred.
It is worth noting that at the time of the attack on the 'Khansk' airfield, 57 Russian aircraft and helicopters for training and military operations were present.
