Zelensky and Trump agreed on 90% of the peace plan: what is known about the 20 points.
According to ТСН: President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that during negotiations with Donald Trump, 90% agreement was reached on a peace plan consisting of 20 points.
At the press conference following the meeting, he emphasized that the 20-point peace settlement plan was practically fully agreed upon, while security guarantees were confirmed at 100%.
“We discussed all aspects of the peace agreement. There are significant achievements. We agreed on 90% of the 20-point peace plan. We also nearly completely agreed on security issues from a European perspective. Military support is supported 100%. We are discussing the next steps,” said the head of state.
Zelensky emphasized that security guarantees are an important factor in ensuring lasting peace.
“We agreed that security guarantees are a key milestone in achieving durable peace, and our teams will continue to work on all aspects. Ukraine is ready for peace,” Zelensky assured.
It should be noted that Donald Trump also confirmed that significant progress was made during the meeting with the President of Ukraine on the issue of ending the war.
Thus, negotiations between Ukraine and the USA demonstrated important achievements in the direction of peaceful settlement. Depending on the subsequent actions of both sides, the possibility of stable peace appears more realistic. This process is critically important for the further development of the situation in the region and for the security of Ukraine.
