The general mobilization and martial law in Ukraine continue, so men must have military registration documents with them and present them upon request by authorized persons.
What documents need to be carried
Those subject to conscription must have one of the following documents:
- military ID — for those who have served or are in the reserve;
- temporary certificate of a conscript — in case of absence of a military ID.
Conscripts need to have a certificate of registration with the draft board and, if necessary, additional documents such as a deferment certificate or a document of discharge from military registration.
It has been previously noted who has the right to request a military ID, and whether the Territorial Defense Commission can fine a person for the absence of a paper military registration document.
Full responsibility for the proper storage and presentation of military registration documents is placed on citizens who are in military service or are subject to military registration. It is necessary to comply with the requirements of the law and ensure proper control over the timely updating and presence of necessary documents.Read also
