The object that struck the Boeing 737 cockpit has been identified
An unknown object that hit the cockpit of the Boeing 737 aircraft and showered the pilots with glass has finally been identified. The United Airlines plane was flying at an altitude of 36,000 feet near Moab, Utah, when a weather balloon struck its windshield, according to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).“The parachute with the weather balloon left Spokane, Washington, earlier,”noted NTSB representatives. It is worth noting that the incident occurred during a standard flight, and serious consequences were avoided. Although the pilots were not injured, this incident sparked discussions about flight safety and the potential for similar situations to occur in the future. It is important that aviation organizations continue to focus on safety in the air, which includes monitoring weather conditions to avoid similar incidents.
