Kharkiv Region: Intense Fighting Continues

According to Novyny.live: Russian troops have intensified their assault operations across multiple front-line sectors in the Kharkiv region, but Ukrainian defenders are successfully holding the line. In the past day alone, 279 combat engagements occurred across the broader front, underscoring the extreme volatility in this area.

On the Southern Slobozhansky axis, the enemy launched eleven separate attacks near Starytsia, Lyman, Vilcha, Izbystke, and Okhrimivka. These strikes reveal a concentrated push by Russian forces at specific points, yet Ukraine's defense units are working to counter each attempt. Four additional attacks were recorded on the Kupyansk axis, where Russian troops are primarily operating in small groups.

Occupiers Face Major Setbacks

Over the past month, the invaders have advanced only a few kilometers—a sign of their significant struggle to meet operational objectives. Ukrainian defense forces are systematically destroying ammunition depots, fuel bases, and other critical supply hubs, severely disrupting Russian military logistics.

Despite the relentless enemy assaults, Ukrainian troops continue to hold back the offensive, demonstrating strong morale and a firm commitment to defending the territory. The fighting in the Kharkiv region remains exceptionally fierce, and the situation stays highly tense.

This region remains a pivotal battlefield for both sides. The surge in combat activity indicates Russia's attempt to regain the initiative, while Ukraine's forces show resilience and effective countermeasures. How events unfold here could significantly shape the broader front-line dynamics, influencing both sides' plans for future military operations.
