A resident of Zaporizhzhia stumbled upon the antlers of a noble deer on Khortytsia Island, where these lovely inhabitants lived over three centuries ago. The antlers became part of the exhibition at the National Reserve 'Khortytsia.'
«The antlers of the noble deer, also known as the forest deer, are now in the museum collection of the reserve, where they lived more than 300 years ago,» the statement said.
Anatolii Merezhko discovered the antlers on the right bank of the former Dnipro riverbed and handed them over to the reserve on June 9. In addition, the National Museum of the History of Ukraine received a unique archaeological finding dated to the early 5th century, which has immense historical and cultural value.
