In Lviv region, a driver hit a woman - police revealed the details.

In the village of Luchany, Stryi district of Lviv region, on the evening of July 7, a man ran over a woman, as a result of which she died at the scene.

According to the police of Lviv region, at approximately 10:10 PM, the driver of a Nissan X-Trail, a resident of Khodoriv, hit a 66-year-old woman from the Stryi district who was lying on the road.

As a result of the injuries sustained, the woman died at the scene. A criminal case has been initiated for violating traffic regulations. The driver faces imprisonment for a term of three to eight years and deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
