Military warehouses are burning in Mykolaiv region — what is known.
In the Mykolaiv region, a fire occurred at an ammunition storage site in the community. The cause of the fire has not yet been established, but preliminary data suggests that it is not a result of enemy shelling.
According to the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, the fire at the ammunition warehouses likely broke out due to burning dry grass. Currently, there is isolated detonation ongoing, but the fire has already been stopped. Rescue workers from the State Emergency Service are working at the scene.
Investigation Conduct
The command has formed a commission to conduct a detailed investigation into this incident. The commission will also determine the culpability of officials whose actions led to the fire.
'The warehouse is located outside populated areas. There is no threat to the local population, but we ask everyone to remain in a safe place,' the press service of the Defense Forces reported.
Recently, there were reports about a fire in Kyiv that destroyed vehicles, as well as about the burning of residential buildings following an attack on Odesa.
