In Dnipropetrovsk region, a group was found that forced people to work for free, promising them housing and jobs. The suspects in human trafficking recruited unemployed and socially vulnerable citizens from Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions and then forced them to work in Odesa region. People were kept under harsh conditions under the threat of violence.

During the searches, four suspects were detained, one of whom was taken into custody, and three were placed under house arrest. Sixteen individuals were found who were held under coercion, and materials evidencing the group's criminal activities were also seized.
The actions of the offenders were uncovered and led to their detention, while the victims were provided with the necessary assistance and protection from similar situations in the future.
