Checks on the roads of Odesa region have begun — drivers, get ready.
Checks have begun in the Odesa region to enforce temperature compliance due to the heat and the start of the harvest, as trucks are actively moving on the roads. Inspectors from other regions of Ukraine have already arrived in the area to carry out control.
Road checks
Ukrtransbezpeka in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions has organized enhanced measures to detect violations of temperature compliance due to the increased risk of accidents and the start of agricultural crop collection. The head of Ukrtransbezpeka, Mykyta Lahunin, addressed carriers with a call to adhere to dimensional and weight standards to avoid fines and save on road repairs.
During the enhanced control, monitoring of adherence to weight standards is carried out around the clock on sections of the region's roads. Trucks are also prohibited from moving at temperatures exceeding +28 °C for vehicles weighing over 24 tons and with axle loads exceeding 7 tons.
We remind you that recently traffic was restricted near the metro station in Kyiv, and costs for road repairs in the Odesa region were determined.
Checks are being conducted to ensure temperature compliance and dimensional and weight standards on the roads of the Odesa region due to the heat and the start of agricultural crop collection. Ukrtransbezpeka calls on carriers to adhere to the rules to prevent accidents and save on road repairs.
