The official is suspected of extorting a bribe. According to the investigation, he demanded two thousand US dollars for assisting in resolving military registration issues. The official promised to help a citizen obtain a new military document and avoid conscription during mobilization in exchange for a bribe. He was detained in Odesa after receiving the money. Law enforcement officers seized the funds and documents that became evidence of the crime.
