Attacks on Civilian Infrastructure in Ukraine

According to UATV: On July 6, 2023, Russian forces launched drone and aerial bomb attacks targeting civilian infrastructure across Ukraine. The strikes hit the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Poltava regions, causing civilian casualties and extensive property damage. These attacks are part of a broader pattern of hostilities that have escalated since the full-scale invasion began in February 2022.

In the Donetsk region, 19 people were reported wounded, including:

  • 14 injured in Kramatorsk;
  • two in Druzhkivka;
  • two in Bilozerske;
  • one in Samoilovka.

In Kramatorsk, multiple apartment buildings, a warehouse, five cars, and two trucks were damaged. Five private homes were hit in Sloviansk, and three apartment buildings were damaged in Druzhkivka.

Situation in Other Regions

The Dnipropetrovsk region also faced severe attacks, with over ten strikes hitting six districts. Meanwhile, in the Poltava region, the aftermath of a Russian attack on an industrial facility was addressed, though no casualties were reported. Overall, the Russian overnight strike on July 6 in Kyiv raised the death toll to 19, with 58 people wounded, including seven children.

These events underscore the ongoing aggression by Russian forces and the severe consequences for Ukraine's civilian population, who continue to suffer from attacks on civilian infrastructure.
