Zelenskyy Responds to Russia's July 6 Strike on Kyiv
According to Novyny.live: On the night of July 6, 2023, a massive Russian bombardment targeted Kyiv, involving 68 missiles and 351 attack drones. The assault caused extensive damage across more than ten locations in the capital. Tragically, 11 people lost their lives, including two children, while 60 others sustained injuries. In the broader Kyiv region, an additional 16 people were wounded and three died. This attack marks one of the most intense aerial assaults on the city in recent months, underscoring the ongoing threat to civilian areas.
Emergency response teams, comprising over 400 rescuers and police officers, were quickly deployed to manage the aftermath. Air defense forces successfully intercepted 37 missiles and 326 drones, but some still managed to hit their targets, leading to the reported casualties and destruction.
