A court hearing took place in the Poltava region concerning a citizen who failed to respond to a summons to report to the military unit due to his poor health.
The court established that the man has a child to support, is unemployed, and had no previous convictions. The military medical commission recognized him as fit for service.
Judgment
The court found the man guilty of evading military service enlistment and sentenced him to three years in prison but decided to release him on probation.
It was also reported that in Poltava, a lyceum teacher justified Russia's aggression against Ukraine on social media, for which he was also held accountable before the law.
Additionally, in this city, a man was trading cars intended as humanitarian aid to the Armed Forces from abroad, for which he was also punished by a court ruling.
During the hearing in the Poltava region, the situation of a citizen who evaded service in the military unit due to his health was considered. As a result, the court issued a verdict but decided to release him on probation.
