A teacher beats a student in Rivne region: police intervened in the case
In the Varas community of Rivne region, a teacher was witnessed hitting an 8th-grade student several times. The police of Rivne region have initiated an investigation into this incident.
Currently, law enforcement is establishing the circumstances of the event. An inspection is also being conducted at the lyceum where this incident occurred, and all necessary services are involved.
The boy's mother stated that she has no claims and does not wish to participate in the criminal proceedings.
The head of the Rivne regional military administration has already expressed his position regarding this case. He confirmed that the Department of Education of the regional state administration has been instructed to conduct a detailed investigation. Koval stated that the conclusions would be decisive and similar actions are not permitted in schools, which should be a safe place for students and knowledge.
The head of the Education Department of the Varas City Council stated that a service investigation is being conducted regarding this incident. She added that the situation is complicated and everyone needs psychological support.
Currently, law enforcement is determining what legal classification this incident will have.
