The man did not report to the TCC after the summons — details of the case
The Trostyanets District Court of Sumy region has convicted a man who previously received a summons but did not appear at the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC).
The case materials indicate that a resident of Sumy region received a 'combat' summons in November 2024, but did not report to the TCC. According to a witness, the man signed the summons but did not show up on the specified date and did not respond to phone calls.
During the court proceedings, the defendant fully acknowledged his guilt and explained that 'in November 2024, he was given a summons, he did not appear due to health reasons, he had a fever.' As it is known, he is currently serving in the military. He sincerely regrets his actions.
The court established that as of June 2025, the resident of Sumy region is indeed serving in the military. Thus, the court found the man guilty of committing a criminal offense under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced him to 3 years of imprisonment.
However, based on Article 75 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the resident of Sumy region was released from serving the imposed sentence with a probation term of 1 year.
Also, based on Article 76 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the court imposed duties on the man: to periodically appear for registration at the authorized body for probation issues; to inform the authorized body on probation issues about changes in residence and work; not to leave Ukraine without the consent of the authorized body on probation issues.
Earlier, we reported that in Ternopil region, a conscript refused to serve in the rear after the military medical commission.
We also reported that in Cherkasy, during a document check, a man attempted to take TCC employees hostage.
The man from Sumy region, who has been sentenced for ignoring a combat summons, turned out to be a participant in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The court imposed a sentence on him but released him from serving it with a probation term, considering the circumstances of the case.
