In Vinnytsia, the court issued a verdict against criminals who robbed a jewelry store for 3.5 million UAH.


Three men who robbed a jewelry store for 3.5 million UAH and shot at a security guard were convicted in the Vinnytsia city court. The Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this.
With the support of public prosecution by the prosecutors of the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office, three men were convicted for organizing and participating in an armed gang, robbery, namely, an attack with the intent to seize someone else's property, using violence threatening the life and health of the victim, combined with entry into the premises, aimed at seizing property in especially large amounts and committed by an organized group, as well as for acquisition, storage, and carrying firearms (Art. 257, Part 4 Art. 187, Part 3 Art. 28 Part 1 Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)
The men were sentenced to prison terms ranging from eight to nine years.
The prosecutors proved in court that the previously convicted men aged between 27 and 36, having carried out preliminary preparations, attacked one of the jewelry stores in Vinnytsia. They acted in a planned manner and according to a previously developed plan, attacked the store, and injured the guard, after which they stole almost a thousand jewelry items worth about 3.5 million UAH.
After this, the men attempted to flee the crime scene in a car, but they were discovered and apprehended by law enforcement. It should be noted that this happened in 2017.
The court found a resident of Lipovets in Vinnytsia region guilty of psychological domestic violence against his ex-wife. The press service of the Vinnytsia Court of Appeal reported this.
It was found that the head of a limited liability company engaged in retail trade in food products, alcohol, and tobacco products deliberately evaded paying income tax for two years. This led to a shortfall in the budget of 4.5 million UAH. This was reported by the BEB of the Vinnytsia region.
