On August 12, a verdict was issued in the Mukachevo District Court of the Transcarpathian region in the case of a female serviceman accused of receiving a bribe. The woman requested a bribe for influencing the TCC for the issuance of a deferral certificate from mobilization.

According to the investigation, the woman, who held the position of platoon commander of the security service, demanded 2000 US dollars from the wife of a soldier in March 2025 for assistance in obtaining a deferral certificate for her husband.

The first part of the money was received by the accused on March 20 to her own bank card, while the remaining 1600 US dollars were received on March 24.

The court found the woman guilty and imposed a fine of 5000 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, amounting to 85 thousand hryvnias. A special confiscation of the 15 thousand hryvnias obtained in the case was also applied, and the bail of 181,680 hryvnias was returned.
