NABU and SAP supported the government's initiative to strengthen law and order.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) supported the President's idea of creating a new draft law aimed at strengthening law and order and the independence of anti-corruption institutions.
The authorities expressed their readiness to join the discussion and preparation of the relevant legislative act, taking into account the principles of the rule of law and expanding opportunities to ensure justice in Ukraine.
'We are convinced that the independence of detectives and prosecutors, as well as the principle of the inevitability of punishment established in court verdicts, are key conditions for effective investigation of corruption crimes and fulfillment of Ukraine's international obligations.'
NABU and SAP urged international partners to continue supporting Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression, emphasizing their commitment to act in accordance with the law and to be open to constructive dialogue.
NABU and SAP expressed support for the President's idea of creating a new draft law aimed at strengthening law and order and the independence of anti-corruption institutions. They emphasized the importance of adhering to the principles of the rule of law, the independence of detectives and prosecutors, as well as accountability for committed crimes. Anti-corruption authorities called on international communities to continue supporting Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression and strengthening legal reforms to ensure justice in the country.
