The National Guard has extended the training period for recruits to 57 days: what will change.
According to inkorr.com: The basic training period for recruits in the National Guard of Ukraine has been extended to 57 days. The commander of the NGU, Oleksandr Pivnenko, noted that this step will ensure a higher quality of training for fighters.
'This period allows for a deeper understanding of theoretical knowledge, practice of necessary skills, mastering technical tools, and forming resilience and confidence in one's actions, without which it is impossible to operate effectively on the front line,' the commander explained.
Final Stage of Training
The final stage of training is a three-day field exercise, where guardsmen take an exam in conditions closely resembling real combat situations.
'During these exercises, servicemen learn to respond to sudden changes in the situation, perform tasks in defense and offense, and organize fire positions. The training course not only summarizes the studied material but also instills in fighters a belief in their own strength and a clear understanding of actions in difficult situations,' Pivnenko added.
Purpose of Extending the Training Period
Extending the basic training period in the National Guard aims to cultivate more qualified fighters who can effectively perform their duties under various service conditions.
These changes in the training program reflect the desire to improve the combat readiness of the National Guard, as quality training for military personnel is the key to success in modern warfare conditions. Given the tense situation in Ukraine, the importance of appropriate training for recruits becomes even more evident.
