Sergii Yevtushok, a member of the Ukrainian parliament, stated that after the end of the full-scale war, the preparation for elections may take six months. He explained this during the RanoK.LIVE broadcast. The MP noted that after the cessation of hostilities, it will be necessary to restore the operations of the voters' register, electoral commissions, and organize polling stations, including those abroad. He also mentioned that changes are already being prepared that may involve deviations from the current electoral code, including the introduction of closed party lists. It is also worth noting the possibility of holding elections in Ukraine online, as previously expressed by the deputy head of the Central Election Commission. The Ukrainian MP believes that the preparation for elections after the war will require time and planning to ensure their compliance with standards and the trust of citizens in the electoral process.
