Musk's economic position in the context of Trump's tariff war
US President Donald Trump announced the introduction of tariffs on imported cars, which will significantly damage automakers and lead to higher prices for consumers. However, some entrepreneurs, including Elon Musk, will be able to profit from this situation.
Tesla has factories in California and Texas where cars for the domestic market are produced. This allows the company to avoid new tariffs on imported cars and key components imposed by Trump.
In contrast, Trump claims he has no conflict of interest despite Musk's active involvement in the US president's administration.
