Failure to comply with sanctions against Iran and North Korea weakens pressure on Russia - Vlasuk.
The President's Commissioner Vladislav Vlasuk reported that violations of sanctions against Iran and North Korea negatively affect the results of sanctions against Russia.
Vlasuk emphasizes that Ukraine is facing the consequences of violations of sanctions against Iran and North Korea. He believes that these two countries, against which sanctions are imposed, can help Russia overcome the consequences of sanctions.
Moreover, Vlasuk notes that the effect of sanctions against Russia has proved to be more complex than expected due to the underestimation of the resilience of the Russian economy and the willingness of Russians to endure the consequences of sanctions. However, he believes that the restrictions are vital for the aggressor, especially in technology and complex sectors.
Vlasuk cites examples of industries that have been severely affected by sanctions: aircraft manufacturing and machine engineering, which have practically come to a halt, as well as the woodworking industry, which has suffered significant losses due to the closure of European markets.
