On Monday, July 14, in Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Denmark, Troels Lund Poulsen. Their discussion focused on Ukraine's defense needs. The president himself reported this in his Telegram channel.During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Industry and Trade of the Faroe Islands, which is part of the Kingdom of Denmark, Sigrid Simona Stenberg, was also present, visiting Ukraine for the first time. Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Danish government for its support in the defense sector and thanked them for important bilateral cooperation.During the meeting with the head of the Danish Ministry of Defense, issues of defense needs, enhancing air defense, countering Russian missiles, and joint defense production were discussed. The importance of energy security and humanitarian support was emphasized, including the construction of shelters in hospitals, schools, and higher education institutions. It was also announced that Ukrainian defense enterprises would open in Denmark.
